Stuart Mooney Returns to the Bay Area

An American Buddha at NeXus this Weekend

Stuart Mooney’s visit to the Bay Area last year was an energetic boon… so much so that he will be here again this weekend.  Mooney’s matter-of-fact western approach to spirituality is refreshing, light and at the same time, it reaches in and touches you in a very deep way. Mooney’s 40-year spiritual journey has been one of disenchantment, surrender, and ah – awakening.  His experience is inspirational.

“It is important for spiritual seekers to recognize that Awakening will become a common experience. It will infuse effortlessly into our societies. It is critical for see that these states are readily achievable right where you are right now,” said Mooney.  “There is no longer a need to spend long arduous years in meditation. The Light of the Divine is coming to your door. And it will transform you like a thief in the night. You will look around one day… only to find out that you have shifted into Awakening.”

It is not only what he says. His stories are engaging, insightful and funny. It also is the energy behind the words. Meditative, deeply meditative are the words that best describe the experience. Profound, transformative, transported, could also be used.
