    Hi there!

I would like to say, with much love, that the weekly messages contrasting enlightened and non-enlightened people are only reminding me that I am not enlightened yet.

I cannot help it but wonder what is the purpose of this weekly teaching, is it that, since I am not enlightened I get to strive to achieve enlightenment?

I feel a certain taste of disaproval after reading them and wonder if, well maybe there is a better use for that forum.

But of course, it’s just my unenlightened opinion!

    • Trainers,
Would someone like to respond to Jairo’s query?

    • Hello Jairo,

Thanks for your candor. Apparently there was a lot of confusion about whether one is Awakened or not. Many people experience very high states, or awakening states, but have not yet reached a fully Awakened state. So these beautiful little teachings help us to recognize where we are. Also, we are told that one has to have passion about becoming Awakened; at the same time, there is nothing one can do to make it happen. When we realize that we are helplessly locked in our own conditioning, we can cease striving and ask the Divine for help. The Divine moves toward impassioned, sincere seeking. In some respects, it is a paradox. The practices are important, but ultimately, realization is an act of grace.

If these teachings are not your cup of tea, feel free to ignore them. Everyone has freedom to accept or reject them.

Or, if you are so inclined, it might help if you don’t focus on the words – “The Awakened One” or “The unawakened one,” but initiate internal inquiry about the condition. For instance: Is humility naturally expressing through me, or do I try to cultivate it? It also might be useful to delve fully into the distaste about being reminded that you are not awakened yet. Give yourself completely to the emotions and see what you discover.

Trainers, feel free offer your insights.

      Much Love,
